Bike path 8.8km/5.5mi - 25min (13.12 mph) - Nice wind from the back:)<br />

Geez. &#8230;I have made the 1:45 on 100 interval with Steve and some of those faster gals in the same lane before, but I was using the bigger fins too&#8230; It would be pushing it, but I might be able to make it with my new smaller fins if I try really hard and follow those guys in the same lane. My excuse - they are not there on Sundays! (although there are plenty other fast swimmers:p)</p>
<p>The sun came out later and I got tan lines especially on my back. Great, now I look like I&#8217;m wearing a speedo suit all the time:( Sunblock next time.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wanted to get a shorter run in after feeling like a zombie in pain for two days because of <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3bYIyXLFlI" target="_blank">Aunt Irma</a>. It was good to take a rest day yesterday because it gave me the feeling that I really wanted to get outside and move again. This morning&#8217;s run was fun as a result. I took it nice and easy to enjoy the moment.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Holy moly, there were a gang of swimmers out this morning even though it was Labor Day! There were somewhere around 80+ of them, a pretty awesome view of the pool.<br />
I was eager to try my new <a href="http://www.finisinc.com/products-tr-zoomers.shtml" target="_blank">Zoomers</a> fins (&amp; my new swimsuit:) woohoo!) that I&#8217;d bought yesterday. The fins that I&#8217;d been using were for bodyboarding and I found them hard for swim training. Boy, am I happy I got Zoomers! They don&#8217;t give as much force as the big fins and make me work harder to keep the faster pace, but help me just enough to keep going. Because they are smaller and less powerful, they are easier on my thighs and ankles, and makes my turns more normal too. With these, I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;d get cramps like I did with the bigger fins.</p>
